Our story
More Human was born from a simple observation: the organizations doing the most important work in the world — nonprofits, social enterprises, and community organizations — were being left behind in the AI revolution.
While tech giants and well-funded startups raced ahead, mission-driven organizations struggle to understand how AI could help them, let alone implement it. The humans that run these organizations are stretched thin, unable to fully focus on their mission.
We founded More Human to bridge that gap. Our name reflects our core belief: AI should help organizations focus on the more human causes. It should free up time for the work that matters most: building relationships, serving communities, and driving change.
Today, we work with nonprofits across the country, helping them reduce overhead, unlock insights from their data, and do more good with less. Because when mission-driven organizations thrive, we all benefit.

Founder & Executive Director
Ben founded More Human with a vision to democratize AI for the nonprofit sector. With a background in technology and a passion for social impact, he leads the organization's strategic direction.
JB Henriksen
Board Member
JB is CFO and Partner Emeritus at Amplēo, where he serves as acting CFO for high-growth companies across technology, retail, and medical sectors. With decades of experience in finance and M&A — and over 30 years teaching at BYU and the University of Utah — he brings deep operational expertise to the board.
Ken Leung
Board Member
Ken is founder of Maestro Advisory Services and a multi-time startup CTO with over 15 years of engineering leadership. Voted among the top 101 B2B CTOs, he brings deep technical and product expertise to More Human's mission.
Thomas Hollmann
Board Member
Thomas is a Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing at Arizona State University and a VP of Data Science, blending academic rigor with industry experience. He brings expertise in marketing strategy, data science, and AI to help mission-driven organizations turn insights into impact.
